However, here are a few checks you can make to save you time and money!

  • Is the PC turned on?
  • Is the power LED on the front of the system unit glowing?
  • Is the power cable fully seated in the port on the back of the system unit (sometimes called the CPU)?
  • Is the monitor turned on?
  • Is the monitor cable firmly plugged into the video port on the back of the system unit?
  • Is the monitor power cable fully seated in the port on the back of the monitor?
  • Are the brightness and contrast knobs properly adjusted?
On visiting, we will accurately diagnose the problem and give advice where we see other problems arising. We stock most common computer parts needed to repair your computer. In the event that we don't have the part on hand, we are able to quickly source your special component and install it for you.
