TROPICAL COMPUTERS LTD WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

THIS AGREEMENT CONTAINS THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT APPLY TO THE PURCHASE OF GOODS AND SERVICES FROM TROPICAL COMPUTERS LIMITED (TCL) THAT WILL BE PROVIDED TO YOU (“THE CUSTOMER”).

BY ACCEPTING DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCT(S) AND/OR SERVICE(S) DESCRIBED ON THE FRONT OF THIS INVOICE, THE CUSTOMER AGREES TO BE BOUND BY AND ACCEPTS THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. NO WAIVER OR ALTERATION OF TERMS HEREIN SHALL BE BINDING UNLESS AGREED TO IN WRITING AND SIGNED BY BOTH PARTIES.

  1. A Restocking Charge of 15% or $30, whichever is greater, will be charged for returned non-defective goods (working and/or unopened).
  2. A Restocking Charge of 90% or $150, whichever is greater will be charged for Special Order items such as owner-customized computer equipment and non-stocked computer and printer parts.
  3. No return will be allowed on opened items that were sold in a sealed condition such as software, ink cartridges, toners, recordable and storage media except hard drives.
  4. Returned Goods are subject to TCL’s inspection and will not be considered for acceptance as returned goods if the customer does not provide the original invoice and/or packaging and accessories sold at the time of first purchase. TCL reserves the right to pro-rate the value of returned merchandise based on its usage, packaging (including original accessories), or reject the returned merchandise.
  5. Non-defective merchandise must be returned within seven (7) days of purchase or delivery. Failure to return a product within the applicable period will be deemed acceptance of the product.
  6. Defective merchandise must be received by TCL within the warranty period and be subject to TCL’s RMA process for testing prior to being replaced.
  7. Refunds for approved returns are subject to applicable restocking charges (see clauses 1 and 2) and are payable approximately three (3) business days after the date of purchase. Alternatively, customers may opt for “store credit”, equal to the full value of the refund. Store Credits must be redeemed within ninety (90) days of issue. No cash refunds will be issued on sale items; store credit only.
  8. TCL warrants that goods sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period specified on the invoice. Defective goods will, at TCL’s option, be replaced or repaired. TCL is not the manufacturer and, in some cases, warranty coverage may be based on the manufacturer’s reseller warranty.
  9. Warranty periods range from ninety (90) days up to five (5) years depending on the product or special request. No warranty is provided on consumables such as ink, toner, drums, media, or batteries unless otherwise stated on an approved TCL Sales Order/Invoice.
  10. TCL reserves the right to void warranties where defects result from physical damage, misuse, faulty/incorrect supplies, tampering, or environmental issues (e.g., electrical faults, lightning, flooding).
  11. Delivery is free across Barbados, subject to special conditions.
  12. Store Pickup: You must present your ID and order number when collecting items. If someone else is collecting on your behalf, advance notice must be given via email (retailsales@tropicalcomputers.com) or WhatsApp (430-0306). The collector must present ID and the order number. Orders must be collected within one (1) business week, after which a 90% refund will be applied.
  13. Parts & Labour repairs and Labour-only repairs carry a 30-day warranty. Parts used in repairs may be new or refurbished and are warranted for 90 days unless otherwise stated.
  14. These Terms & Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Barbados.
